Should have stopped reading at “We all know and love the moon”. But I didn’t.
Any amateur astronomer (except the lunatics who look at the Moon [lunatics....Moon...get it]) would FAR rather the Moon be painted flat black or something. It totally interferes with seeing 13th mag galaxies.
