I’m a non-native speaker, and I have NO idea what it means. I didn’t even know it was offensive. I like that combination of consonants and vowels (ji-ga-boo) the same way I like words like dingaling and bupkis. Is there somewhere I can get a list of terms and the minority that is likely to be offended by them?Can't do that. I can give you a list of acceptable words, though.

If you take a pre-1960 dictionary, that will give you a great start on the offensive word list. Just begin with “A” and stop right after “Zymurgy.”
