MCALLEN, Texas — Approximately 2,000 inmates at a federal detention center near the border that primarily houses immigration detainees rioted and set off fires, requiring a massive mobilization of law enforcement to secure the perimeter and restore order.
The uprising began Friday morning at the MTC Detention Center in Raymondville when a group of prisoners began getting agitated about the medical services in the private prison facility, KGBT reported.
The inmates broke out of the housing area and made their way into the recreational yard, prompting a lockdown of the prison. KGBT reported that the inmates set off fires in three separate units of the facility. They also tore down some of the tents used for their housing and shook the perimeter fence as they chanted their grievances.

Yup, Nancy Pelosi and a priest washing the feet of the “least of us,” and in the case of this post suggests, violent, incarcerated illegals. And as my husband was thinking, one day we will see Pope Francis on Holy Thursday washing the feet of jihadist after they cross the Med to the Vatican.
As a Catholic church goer in Pima County ( where Tucson is located) illegals are practically revered, unfortunately.
They must have heard the usurper was giving all their relatives a wink and nod when they crossed the border.

They want better medical? No sweat, ship their illegal, thieving butts to Cuba, they can get the finest medical, according to democrats, care in the world and won’t have a problem with the language.
Kay Baily took the blame for it but the whole GOP leadership crowd was behind it. GW was still trying to force the border open to Mexican Trucks as he was leaving office.
Let them riot and burn down their kitchen/cells/housing. Then they can sleep outside and eat cold beans until the government can go through the procurement process to find a contractor, get the EPA permits, settle the Greenpeace lawsuit, etc, in order to rebuild the jail.
