Here’s a local example that looks like it will be ruled a justified shooting.

I also am (was) acquainted with a man who was stabbed to death by his wife on Saturday. Looks like she was severely beaten first so it will probably be ruled a justifiable homicide.

It's true that "homicide" is a confusing word, unless you're being careful. And anti-gun nuts have no interest in care or truth. A defensive killing is a homicide—one person killing another. It's a justifiable one. Accidental killings are also homicides, as are murders. Murders are the homicides you punish. Got that, liberals?
