What was wrong with “Hitlers Jurrasic Zoo on the “American Heroes Channel”?
It was actual history about something the nazis actually did try to do and one more example of the nazi progressivism. The project was overseen by overseen by Herman Goring. Lutz and Heinz Heck were the brothers who did the actual work.
They were trying to recreate “the forest primeval” in Poland by attempting to breed animals like the Aurochs Bull back into existence for stocking in the forests that had been cleansed of people. They also bred super agressive dog/wolf crossbreeds for the forest. They also bought bison from the USA for breeding with the local species. Goring had dreams of recreating an extinct species of wild horse as well as a subspecies of mammoth that once lived in the area.
But on the America Heroes channel?
I don’t mind as long as its not Hitler’s ancient aliens. They have some great shows about the Nazis on AHC as well as some good stuff about our allied forces.
Today I watched one about the battle in the Chosin Valley and right now is a show about the Battle of the Bulge.
AHC is one of the few cable channels that is relatively good.
PBS could stand a lot of improvement as well. But now you have shows like Downton Abbey and some other shows that are clearly better than network tv and a lot of cable. But some nights their programming is pretty bad too.
While its not really science, I do love it when the Science channel runs an all day Firefly marathon.
It was once a favorite. I quit watching the tripe on TLC when there was nothing worthy of learning on it. The History Channel is headed down the same sewer. Nothing particularly historical on it. Science channel, AHC, and occasionally History-2 still okay. But nobody asked, huh.
Small Dogs, Big Dumps sounds interesting...........................
They dropped that charade a long time ago.
And the writer neither owns the channel, nor the distribution. So, they don’t have a say.
Indeed. However, I find 'Uterus Cannon' to be that and so much more. Provocative and disturbing come to mind.
