Prime just means it has more fat. I like lean ground beef just as well as anything.
$1500, wholesale or retail on the plate?

Where do you live in South Carolina?
Costco has an excellent selection of prime cuts of meat. Rib-eyes are $14.99/lb. Choice are only $9.99. Once the cattle herds recover from the years of drought, those prices will drop by $2.00.
That’s probably no more than 10 pounds of steak due to the prices these days. /sarc
Spartanburg
I’m guessing at least 25# per box. If so, that’s $20.00/lb.
Have you never heard of Costco? There is one in Spartanburg. Prime rib-eyes are under $15/lb, but we prefer choice for under $10/lb.
Judging by his headgear, he’s taking the steaks to the Saints’ locker room.
Why eat beef? Try bison!
No way that skinny old man is carrying 75 pounds in those photos, assuming all three boxes contain equal weights.
Thanks. I’ll check it out. I have rib-eye at least once a week and willing to pay for Prime if I can find it.
The photo is likely just showing one of many trips he made.
I have never been to a Costco when prime cuts of steaks were not available.
Almost anyone can carry a 75# barbell a good distance. Once those boxes are picked up, it would be pretty easy to carry then for a reasonable distance.
