If words really mean nothing concrete then the Liberals are right. Words mean only what the liberal wants them to mean. When you say them or when the liberal says them he gets to determine the meaning for any particular time or place and for which reader or hearer. I refuse to accept that “decimate” is a synonym for “destroy,” also. There are good sane reasons why there are different words. Language is the toolkit for thinking. Get sloppy with language and the thinking is sloppy thereby.Use the wrong tools and the construction is ambiguous at best and wrong at second best.
