I believe some flu shots still do use thimerosal. Beyond those, however, it is no longer used in this country. I wonder if those who fear it know the difference between ethylmercury and methylmercury.

I also wonder if they prefer bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus in their vaccines rather than a preservative.
