Does the front office of the New England Patriots prefer to have white players on its roster? There is circumstantial evidence that may be the case.
While the racial makeup of an NFL team in any given year has its share of random fluctuations, the New England Patriots have seemingly had a suspiciously large amount of white players on its teams during the Robert Kraft-Bill Belichick era.
Wes Welker, Danny Amendola, Danny Woodhead, Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, and Tom Brady — all have been some of the more prominent “faces” of the franchise in recent years, and they all happen to be white.

Why is that even an issue? TBH we call it the the Negro Football League and the African-American League around our house as a joke. There seems to be a preponderance of blackf ootball players in the league but that desnt bother me. I say let the job go to the best man for the job. Many of the black players are just better athetes and make for a better game. I like the Lynn Swann and Santana Moss acrobatic catches in the end zone. It just makes for a better game.
Are you guys too young to remember the Auerbach teams built around Bill Russell ? Sam and KC Jones in there with Cousy, too.
I believe the Eagles are whiter than the Patriots.
I think the article is silly but now that you mention it, Boston is the ONLY place I have ever heard of where white people live in the projects.

I knew white people in NYC who lived in the projects. Quite a few of them in fact.

I wondered if this would come up as I watched a lot more white players than normal during the victory celebration after the game.
Good lord! What next? Maybe each team needs the proper proportions based on the makeup of society as a whole.
