Lewis’ writings guided me to Christianity very early in my life. It all started in grade school where my teacher, Mrs. Graciano, read several Chronicles of Narnia books to the class. I was so enthralled and the stories seemed magical. Because of that, I later sought out his apologetics and was then forever stuck with Lewis. It’s amazing how much he (and others) contributed to bringing people to Christ. I later became Catholic because it just made sense. Although Lewis was not Catholic, he beliefs were consistent with Catholic teaching.

Absolutely. This is the sheer brilliance of deep thinking.
Bobby Jindal too recounts why he chose Catholicism since the rest of Christian beliefs were so bland, shallow, and lacked historical support. Indeed, often Catholics who convert are more informed that those born and baptized Catholics.
