I already live in a rural area.

I don’t think my neck of the woods is expecting a large influx of people any time soon.

I also live in a rural area; actually more of a wilderness area, nearest neighbor is over 3 miles away.
Already self sufficient in vegetable gardens, both winter and summer. The orchard started producing about 4 years ago and the livestock is doing well, plus wild game meat.
There are only 2 routes into our area, both with numerous excellent choke points.
We are all heavily armed. I really don’t think we will have much of a problem with the urban or sub urban mobs looking to loot.
