I still take some issue with the notion "men should not say ..." whether it comes from the right or left.

So do I. However, you don't get an article published with the concept, "I don't particularly like it when people say ...". It's got a be a rant about how terrible it is that people blahblahblah and it proves they're yadda yadda.

Yep. I don't have to agree with everything just because he's right wing. It's part of civilized dialogue.
