This was in the game against the Colts, not Ravens. Although the Pats did use several “trick” plays against the Ravens that also relied on confusion as to who was and who wasn’t an eligible receivable. Some of these may have also been illegal, but I’ve never seen any final conclusion on that. (full disclosure - I’m a Ravens fan).

If the team were to change its name to the New England Faggots, all their problems would just go away...

IIRC, they won by SEVERAL TDs.

Refs made questionable calls in some of the other playoff games.

The last couple of seasons, we have also seen refs sort of make up rules on the spot.

IIRC, there was some questionable call or activity regarding Baltimore last season (2013-2014).

But, as long as the checks still clear ...

Why does this remind me of the "Snow plow" kick to win the game against the Dolphins on the last play?

Since 2003, the Patriots have averaged 14 wins a season. What are the odds? Even Vince Lombardi couldn’t have even dreamed of that consistency. Cheaters.

Doesn’t matter...
In Today’s NFL, CHEATING PAYS...

They are in the Super-bowl, and will make tens of millions of dollars from it.

Sure, they may get fined, but they’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.

The NFL ruled the Patriots’ plays that Harbaugh complained about legal. End of story. Using a small running back like Vereen as an offensive lineman is a horrible offensive tactic, some defensive lineman should have just rolled over him. It was just the novelty and unexpectedness of it that threw the Ravens off balance.

Tough. As Brady said, Harbaugh needs to consult the rules.

you guys are all missing a huge point. if the play was against the rules, then the refs are responsible for enforcing it. you’re all behaving like Marxists when they blame the gun for killing someone and not the person.
its the refs fault, they should know the rules.

I love Bill Belichick. He is the greatest coach in the history of the NFL. The Patriots under Belichick have exemplified what "greatness" means for 15 years straight, and we ain't going anywhere anytime soon... except maybe to 2 or 3 of the next 4 Super Bowls.

Brady will leave his indelible mark on this league as well, and we'll all look back on this as the most amazing, raw display of absolute superiority ever witnessed in professional sports.

Go Pats!

Please post a link where Harbaugh ever said anything the Pats did was “illegal”. (And please notice my quotes, they are important).

I’m a ravens fan too. And I’m hoping to win over my grandson but I’m up against giants fan mommy and redskins fan daddy. And falcon fan grandpa but he’s not much of an enthusiast.
