She must be talking about women getting very early abortions where trans-vaginal would be necessary to get any image at all. It is creepy that the government gets involved and forces this sort of thing. I can see maybe making them available, but not mandatory.
Except rape.

Nothing is involuntary. If you want an abortion, you must volunteer for the procedure, so it is then voluntary. If you don’t volunteer, then you don’t get an abortion.
It all depends where the doctor place the sensor device.

I had an early ultrasound with my first two (simply because I knew I was definitely pregnant) Both times, an internal ultrasound was used simply because my babies were so tiny. So, it does exist. As for feeling “raped” by the small device? Uh, no. It looks like a very small/thin microphone (for anyone wondering). Hopefully, I didn’t divulge TMI.
A trans-vaginal ultrasound is rape, but a man putting his butchering tool inside a woman is not rape?

More than one abortion procedure requires the introduction of instruments into a woman’s vagina. Is that rape too?

A trans vaginal is different. It goes INSIDE your body. Just had one yesterday. (for different purposes)

I wasn’t acquainted with the trans-vaginal ultrasound. The only ones I have ever seen were the external variety. But it’s been a long time since I’ve had the need to visit an obstetrician.
