That's good. Asians, generally, if they come through the schools, are good additions. That doesn't include Arabs and Pushtuns and other Moslem Asians, though. It definitely includes Hindus and Southeast Asians. Chinese are good, too, but come with some other problems, political in nature. Industrial spies come among them. And Hindus and Buddhists and East Asian animists are not incompatible with Christianity and civilization as Moslems most definitely are.
I had known some foreign students in the 90s and their complaint was as I described. It has been a while now. I hope that the policy has quietly changed back to be more as it was once. Now if we could stop the wholesale hauling of Moslem "refugees" into the country and uneducated poor people from cultures that don't value education...

And we don't need Moslem engineers and scientists, either. They are too apt to return to use their training to build better explosives for their children to wear or stay and enable our "lone wolves" to do a better job.

One of my sons had a sleep-over for his birthday, and of the six kids that were here three were Muslims (two from Bangladesh and an Egyptian), two were South American, and one was an American. I don’t think many people realize how quickly this country is changing demographically (if Obama’s two elections weren’t warning enough); never mind whites as a minority by 2050 - I see it happening by 2020.

Actually I am not familiar with those, mainly because I lived in Tampa, Brandon, Seffner, and Land O Lakes. However, I did go to Plant City fairly often and got to enjoy the Strawberry Festival, restaurants, and other points of interest. Last time I was there was with two friends and we checked out an old Corvette show. I always thought I would be happy to live there. Maybe one day that will happen.

They were what was then known as “skull busters”.

I have only visited once, in my teens. Went to Bush Gardens and stayed with some relatives, whom I haven’t seen since...I loved getting off the plane and seeing real palm trees. I hear a lot of whacky stories out of Florida lately but as somebody living in IL all my life I don’t think I’m entitled to knock anyone else for where they live haha. Like you, I basically only live here because of family :)

I reckon there are worse places than Florida to live. My biggest problem here is the stifling summer weather, where you get drenched with sweat simply by walking around your yard. Oh, and I almost forgot, all the Dumb-o-crats that are here nowadays. Can’t we send them back where they all came from? Hee!
