HOW MUCH IS THAT PSYCHOLOGY DEGREE WORTH?

January 28, 2015

The Republican leadership in Congress still hasn't held hearings on why college is so expensive, although I proposed the idea two weeks ago. Of course, it's been a month since the GOP took control of Congress, and they also haven't voided Obama's unconstitutional executive amnesty, passed e-Verify, a fence bill or the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Act.

Democrats are on offense all the time, even when they've just had their legs cut off. They announce absurd agenda items and then indignantly demand to know why Republicans are refusing to deal with the free unicorn-rides proposal. Obama is a lame-duck president and, three months ago, his party was slaughtered in midterm elections. And yet, I gather that his State of the Union address consisted of a litany of insanely expensive, utterly pointless ideas.

And Republicans fall for it every time. They consider it a major victory to come back with a free-market approach to surrender.

Ann needs to realize that there is a huge difference between "Republican" and "RINO". RINOs are NOT Republicans. What we have in power now is the LibRino party. Liberals combined with RINOs which is why they are not doing everything she says. We are basically a country run by one party: The LibRino party. She complains about what they do, then she goes ahead and endorses members of the Librinos anyway like Mitt RINOmney or Chris Obesity.

If due to my acquired knowledge, I can mess with your mind, it is worth a lot.

Also, we'd like to know how driving the getaway car for a cop-killer constitutes a qualification to teach college.

College professors relentlessly hound the rest of society for its crimes -- racism, sexism, "white privilege" -- look what you're doing to the environment! Why are we paying them, again? There's no visible reason most of these people should be teaching at all. How about they explain their value to the taxpayers who subsidize their cushy lives?

Going after Big Education is all upside for the GOP. College professors and administrators already vote 98 percent for the Democrats. In fact, it's a triple-play for Republicans: They would punish a liberal constituency, strike a blow against the principal vehicle of liberal indoctrination in America, and the middle class will love it.

Did you check how many true conservatives voted against Beehner’s sell-out to Obama in the budget bill, funding ObamaCare and his illegal amnesty? The number was 22. The Republican Party is Democrat Lite. Wake up and stop fooling yourselves.

Mine got me into Med School so it turned out to be worth quite a lot. That said most are probably pretty worthless.

I used to work for a retailer that put all job applicants through a 50 question psychological survey. It was allegedly intended to weed out those who were likely to steal.

I came to the conclusion that the only thieves here were the psychologists who sold them the test.

You’re to be commended for going on after the bachelors. Right now psychology is the second most pursued degree in Texas’ public universities. Most never continue and are left with a virtually useless (as far as making a living) college degree.

The most pursued degree is in “distributed studies.” Totally useless general knowledge program. They don’t learn much about anything just a little about a lot.

Yeah, I can not believe how out of touch she is with the fact that we have liberal democrats in the GOP who WANT to keep the Democrat Party agenda going whether the Dems have power or not.

They want the GOP to be the minority party because they reject the philosophy of the GOP and fit in closer to the socialist philosophy. All the heavy breathing over the Tea Party is really their rejection of the GOP’s purpose and goals.
