Somewhat interesting article.
One thing the author neglects that I think would be important is smell. For most of human history, antiperspirants and deodorants were non-existent. Couple that with lack of bathing, and most people are going to stink in a post-SHTF world. If you smell like Irish Spring, or just don’t stink at all, you’re also going to stick out.
Stash away enough garlic, that won’t be a problem :)
