Define “well”.
I would submit that people are fully capable of figuring out how to best pursue their interests.
I don’t oppose local authorities giving advice or suggestions...but that is enough.
Atlanta, too, was an anomaly—truly a rare event for them to get such icy conditions. Likewise, I would NOT blame the government for the actions that the citizens took....I mean, aren’t people capable of watching a weather cast and determining on their own whether to open their business, or go out driving?
I think so.
Having people stuck on interstates for over 16 hours fits any sane definition of not well. Atlanta and the state government ignored the forecasts and got caught having to deal with gridlock that prevented dealing with the road problems that ensued as a result.
