Many tourists think Manhattan is just one big block of skyscrapers and that everybody commutes there, but actually nearly two million people actually live there full-time. So it stands to reason you would see the same big-box stores that you get in the suburbs. They also have another Home Depot up on 59th Street but I think that one is completely underground.

The two million people that “exist” there, along with Comrade Mayor, have my sincerest sympathy.
