It is a nice store, oriented towards apartment living. They have a lot of fancy kitchen sinks and cabinets, bathroom tile and bathtubs, that sort of thing.
The renovation industry in New York is huge. In my building, the super runs a small business on the side doing up apartments. Any apartment owner in the building who wants his bathroom or kitchen redone goes with this guy to Home Depot, picks out the stuff he wants, and then the super’s workmen install it. He completely rebuilt my bathroom in 4 days, very nice job too, all with stuff from that Home Depot.
Good thing you were not in HOme Depot today.
I realize that - HD wouldn’t be in NYC if there wasn’t a SERIOUS NEED for them...I just LOVE to generalize.
