In a coople of years medicare people will not be able to exercise this right any more. All the hospitals and just about all the doctors will have disconnected themselves from the medicare system altogether as the hospitals all lose 1/3 of their medicare reimbursements due to having to readmit patients with further problems or they will simply refuse to readmit in the first place and will decline those patients judged to be susceptible of complications i.e. most of them.

The hospitals are refusing initial admission to Medicare patients right now.

They are considered out-patients even if they stay a couple of nights.

It’s game playing and book juggling at it’s worst.
