(1) Belicheck was very specific, he said he did not once (ever, in his 40 years of coaching career) talk to anybody about air pressure.
(2) Brady hurt himself tremendously yesterday. He could have done better, should have known better. Telling the audience he couldn't feel the difference from 1st half vs. 2nd half (supposedly re-inspected during half time) is treating sports fans like the idiots he thinks we are.
(3) Not once, nobody from sports/tv industries thought of getting hold of the game day referees.
(4) NFL and I reiterate yet again. Roger Goodell is an unmitigated disaster. Owners like him because of the $$$$$, but the way NFL is run, it won't last long.
Here's the reason why: many ex-NFL quarterbacks who now work for the various sports TV networks all say that the process of "seasoning" a football to the liking of the quarterback is usually between the quarterback and the equipment manager, NOT with the head coach. And even Brady admitted he liked to play with footballs inflated with lower air pressures in a news article published in 2013. In short, it's going to be mostly Tom Brady that's going to be in trouble--can you say US$100,000 fine and possible suspension for a few games?
