Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richards: ‘We Proudly…Provide Abortions’

CNSNews.com) – At an invitation-only press conference on Tuesday at the National Press Club, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards told hand-picked reporters that her organization takes pride in the millions of abortions done at its affiliated clinics around the United States.

“We proudly provide safe and legal abortion,” Richards said at the event.

As CNSNews.com reported earlier, Planned Parenthood clinics did 327,653 abortions in its fiscal year 2014 (which ran from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014), according to Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s latest annual report.

That works out to an average of 37 abortions per hour or nearly 1 every 90 seconds.

I never could get what motivates someone to thinking killing a human being is right. This is always a sensitive issue with my wife and I, as she thinks the issue is complex and my prescription too harsh. But I think it should be treated as a crime, and doctors should be regarded as murderers.
