Brandon Browner openly admitted that the Patriots intentionally injure players when the opponent is better than the Patriots. Tongue and cheek or no, the fact he would joke about that so callously speaks volumes about their culture. I think it's Boston culture in general, since I remember something similar happening with the Bruins a few years ago. I've always hated Boston, and now I hate it more.
Anyways, they needed to knock out two key players on the Seahawks to bring the Seahawks down to their level so they could have a chance to eek out a victory. It's very similar to how the MSM tried to pump up John Kerry with bogus letters from imaginary Bush commanding officers to bring him up to Bush's level in the 2004 presidential election. (Funny that the Patriot's logo looks like John Kerry). In this case... it worked.
Bottom line: The score should not have been this close in the first place.
But to Patriots fans: enjoy your tainted victory. Your team succeeded in knocking a better team down to its level. Guess cheating is okay and good guys really do finish last.

Interesting, but not what I was talking about.
I was talking about Pete Carroll’s and Bill Belichick’s last-minute decisions hoping someone would shed some light on why Belichick didn’t call a timeout.
