Considering how crappy the prequels were, Disney probably made the right choice to ignore Lucas completely.

You’re probably right. He had great inspiration for the first 3. All downhill after that.

I still don’t quite get what happened in the prequels...
But, I only watched them once.

Aw, nuts. I was looking forward to The Jar Jar Binks Story.

'They didn't use any of my ideas': George Lucas says new Star Wars film is not how he envisioned it Well, then I might have to go see this one.
I stopped at Attack of the Clones. Revenge of the Sith was so bad that Weird Al didn't even write a parody of it.

Yes, My Star Wars Theorem has been proven correct.
Do you think it Is a coincidence that the Best Star Wars Movie (The Empire Strikes Back) is the one that has the LEAST amount of Involvement from George Lucas?
I didn't think so, George can take his "Midichlorians" and shove 'em!

The prequels took a single line from the original Star Wars flick and turned it into three lousy movies. Imagine what a creative mind could have done with the kind of resources Lucas squandered.
And if you haven't already done so everyone should watch Red Letter Media's takedown of the prequels. Amazingly well done.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the new Star Wars Rebels cartoon series. Billy Dee came back for the Lando Calrissian role in the last episode and still sounds the same.

The problem with those movies is Lucas totally left out the element of humor that made the 1970s -early 1980s ones so good. You know like when Princess Leia says to Han Solo “I love you” and he says “I know”. Stuff like that made it great, plus casting someone who can’t act for shet like Hayden Christensen was a disaster. it came across as a amatuer project with a big budget for special effects, not to mention the plot pretty much sucked.
