Divest the movie of its ridiculous political and environmental message, and it’s a visually stunning film. I bought it on 3D BluRay and found myself physiologically affected by it throughout. It’s a testament to CGI, regardless of its creator.
The only way to watch Avatar is with the sound off. Now Prometheus was good with the sound on. It actually challenged some of the brain dead.
