France24: Paris mayor to sue Fox News over ‘no-go zones’ slur
Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo told CNN on Tuesday that her city intends to sue Fox News after it broadcasted interviews asserting that there are “no-go zones” in the French capital where police and non-Muslims fear to tread.

Sue for telling the truth. That’s Obama and the Democrat America too.
But they won’t sue CNN for mentioning no go zones first..and they won’t sue the Washington Post for writing an article about it in 2008
I have been hearing this claim for many years. The same thing is now happening in certain parts of the U.S. too, whether they wish to admit it or not.
I’ve also heard that certain areas of Arizona have been ceded to the Drug Cartels, and big signs in English warn people not to go into those areas.
Oh yes, this should be hilarious. The French will have to prove that non-muslims are not afraid to go into these areas.

This will be interesting. First, will Fox cave and agree to some craven apology to avoid a costly legal fight that could risk real exposure? Second, what if Fox simply said that Mayor Hidalgo was incompetent? Could she sue over that? While I know there is no “First Amendment” in France, it will be interesting to see what the boundaries of “free speech” are in France.
Talk about a frivolous lawsuit-but by all means, France just go right ahead and look more hapless...

Hidalgo is a Spanish Socialist, she’s not French, and she’s part of the party that caused all of this.
That she wastes time huffing and puffing over this shows her total lack of sense.

British people know of the awful things happening to women. Women who just happen to be in those areas. They know of beatings to unwary "trespassers." Never mind the name of the street.
I live in Arizona, and spend a lot of time hiking and camping near the border. In fact, last week, I took a Boy Scout Troop camping in the Dragoon Mountains, which are within 30 miles of the border.
I have NEVER seen any signs warning me not to go in the border areas.
It isn’t just England. I sometimes visit a forum for certain women’s interests (makeup, beauty, etc.), and recently one of the posters timidly asked if anyone was worried about Islam.
She was flamed for asking the question, so I jumped in with facts about Muslim atrocities and the history of Islam. You have never seen such shrieking in your life. I was called insane, told to STFU, etc.
All of this for giving hard facts about Islam. But those women actually believe that the KKK is as much, if not more of a threat. So you tell me how we can fight a war when people think it’s a crime to even say a threat exists.
A big fat FU-France. And FU again...
