The young football fans had been caught watching the game on television in the Iraqi city of Mosul, which is controlled by the Islamic State. I have a teenage son and I can’t imagine the horror of having him executed for watching a sports match. I think we are being desensitized by the constant news of this type of thing happening to people we don’t know
ISIS has replaced the NFL as the “No Fun League”.
This may be a bridge too far. Outside of America, soccer is just about sacred, worldwide. If anything will inspire people to rise up against these goons, shooting people for watching soccer could be it.
I wonder if those clowns have ever heard of the Super Bowl?
They could really have “fun” here on February 1st.
Even the Turks are crazy about soccer, and they brawls between opposing fans in Turkey are pretty intense.

Little known fact, most people murdered by the Nazis were shot in the forest or on the edge of a ditch, or starved in open air-barbed wire POW pens. Way more than in the gas chambers.
