That WAS a full size Chevy Silverado.
What a terrifying picture. It truly is a miracle he survived.
He’s probably lucky it was standard tractor trailers.
Had they been lowboy trailers they would have crushed the whole body of the truck in on him leaving him with massive injuries.
Like being stuck between the Rats and the Pubbies
A few people were also commenting that one of the trailers was owned by Covenant Transport.
The article says he prayed as he saw the other rig coming right for him. It sure seems like God answered his prayer with a resounding yes!
Some more detail to the story ...
Astounding.
Prayer works.
Guardian angel?
I thought Fox and Friends was going to have him on this morning but I didn’t see it before I went off to work.
I’ve been on black ice on that road. It’s one of the most treacherous roads I know in the winter, frankly.
At least we know who the passenger was along with him in his truck - God!
Prayer works. I have seen it work in my own life although not quite this dramatically but almost.
This man’s guardian angel was definitely on duty.
I think I know how he must feel, as I was hit twice by a tractor trailer rig on I95 near Baltimore while I was driving a Geo Storm.
How was I hit twice? I was driving in the right lane when he drifted over — I suspect he had nodded off — and bumped the driver’s side of my car near the rear. This caused my car to go into a spin that left it sitting perpendicular to the middle lane, where I sat for what seemed like a minute as I watched the truck heading full on for my driver’s side.
The car was not left in very good shape, but, although there were no side air bags, my only injury was some cuts on my arm from the broken glass.
