They want to be in our faces. Constantly. That’s what they want. If a black actor had been nominated they would have found another “reason.” The fact that the movie was nominated is a victory for political correctness and affirmative action in itself, such a dud is it.
Why quibble? Obama, Sharpton, Holder, Soros, De Blasio, Winfrey, the CBC, the NAACP and the Obamabot, Democrat Party have killed “Selma” at the box office with their “Black Racist” rants & raves.
MLK, Jr. is turning in his grave at the worship of Obamabot, Black thugs (Michael Brown) , would be cop killers, cop killers, arsonists, looters and property destroyers, destroying their own towns and businesses.
A culture which isn’t based on personal responsibility does that to people.

The Oscars became about politics since at least when they started awarding them to all the anti-Vietnam war films.
For decades Oscars have been given to films that the public wasn’t interested in, and that have a very short shelf life, purely to fulfill the political messaging of the moment.
I’m beginning to have my doubts about MLK. He’d be right in there schmoozing with Holder and Obama. Maybe not with Sharpton, but the others...oh, yeah.

Personally, I don’t know what the commie libs are whining about. $elma has been out there for 25 days and has made 26 million. The commie libs should be happy about that.
This article clearly shows that liberals are not like you and I. Liberals do not think the same way you and I think. Liberals don’t have common sense if I can our it that way. Liberals look sr everything through the prism of who belongs to what grievance group.
Why aren’t homosexuals out there protesting? There were no movies to remind us of homosexuality. No Brokeback Mountain this year. Why do there need to be black movies every single year ??? Why do we need to track nominations for Oscars by race??
The mere fact that liberals are bitching about these Oscar nominations shows how they approach things from the prism of the grievance group membership.
This is interesting too because Hollywood has such a reputation for pushing liberalism in movies and TV. Yet liberals are upset with liberal Hollywood in this case.
