Some Republicans have openly questioned whether his time has passed and even some former supporters are discouraging Romney from another bid.

His time was past long before 2012 when he helped pass socialized medicine for the citizens of Massachusetts.

Romney needs to face facts; the only place he can honestly call himself a Republican is in Massachusetts.

It is bad enough that he was a leading political proponent of Romney Care that he did not but that he did not declare it a failure and renounce his support for the program during his presidential campaign was a guarantee that he would lose the support of the Conservative wing of the party and lose the election.

Unless he gets out early and corrects those weaknesses in his strategy he might as well spend his time on the golf course and leave the campaign money to other candidates who have a chance of winning in the general election.

The whole reason the GOPe and the Chamber of Commerce wanted him as the nominee in 2012 was so Obamacare as an issue was taken off the table.The Chamber wants health care costs off loaded from business on to government. If Romney had won in 2012 the GOPe would already have been celebrating the passage of a "common sense immigration bill" too.
