A lot of opposing teams complain it’s really hard to play against the Seattle Sounders because they play at that noisy bandbox called CenturyLink Field—especially when they open up the upper deck levels.
I’ve been to a couple of Sounders games and it can get fairly loud, but nothing like the Seahawks loud (of course, there are about twice as many people at the Seahawks games).
I get a little kick of the fans at one end of the field (down by where the players tunnels are). I’ve not been to soccer games in Europe or elsewhere, but it reminds me a little of the few I’ve seen on TV, they have their regular “singing chants” (I’m not sure what they’re called), wave fairly large flags, etc. Definitely die-hard fans.
Can’t wait for the game Sunday, sure hope we win.
GO HAWKS!!!!
