HBO and/or STARZ is running a movie based on that claim — Heaven Is for Real.

I wonder whether they will pull it.

I wonder whether the name is real or a pseudonym intended to paint the whole thing as a hoax or whether the hoax was created around the family name.

Quite possibly the ‘author(s)’ were doing some backroom snickering as the book and movie were being hyped.

Correction to previous post:

When I did a quick Google search, ‘Heaven Is for Real’ came up, as did ‘Kid Named Malarkey Lied About Going to Heaven’.

I had not seen the movie or read the book, but had seen the movie listed on the premium channels.

Hallucinations of a dying person are not insight into heaven.

Assuming, of course, that they are indeed hallucinations.

So who gets you in to heaven is...Lt. Commander Worf?”

Suffice it to say that not everyone is offered an open door.

No one “comes back from heaven” or “from the dead.”

Well, actually I can think of two . . .

Well that must have taken a lot of courage to publicly confess like that.

It’s amazing the kind of tales people will believe on so little evidence.
