Tell me something I don't already know. I would have voted for Gingrich in 2012 if he had been nominated, and BELIEVE ME when I tell you I sure as heck didn't agree with him 100 percent of the time, but I'd have voted for him anyway because on balance, he articulated limited government conservatism.
I OPPOSED virtually 100 percent of Romney's governing philosophy as exemplified in his STANDING RECORD and RECORDED STATEMENTS. For an informed Republican conservative, voting for Romney was as nuts as voting for Obama, so I voted third party in order to reduce the popular mandate of whichever leftist won, Romney or Obama.
YOU, on the other hand, voted to increase the popular mandate of a leftist Republican. WORSE, you deceive yourself in pretending that you were voting "against" leftism.

We the people get limited choices for an election. Consider that thanks to those who stayed home, we have been saddled with two radical supreme court justices, the most corrupt AG in American history, the worst POTUS in history, unconstitutional appointed czars, regulations up the gazoo, same sex marriage, etc. Yep, staying home at election time really makes the country a better place (sic).
