35 degrees in some parts.....(Jacksonville is usually colder) .....but it only dropped into the 50’s in central Florida.........Didn’t get as cold as they initially predicted.
Of course, anything 60 and below and we start rummanging around for our heavy winter coats and mittens..........the blood thins out you know

palimino bugs........?
Is that another word for palmetto bugs, of which Florida has plenty.
Did you know they can fly?
I’m use to the humidity........we’ve lived here forever....practically natives.....doesn’t bother me.
Yes your right I couldn’t exactly remember the name...and very glad I didn’t see too many. One was enough! They’re huge!...and no I didn’t know they flew. Yikes!
My brother got use to living in the huminity as well. So when he comes for a visit up North, in our summers, he often thinks the air is chilly, where we’re just enjoying great weather!
There’s definately a difference in the sun rays there over here.
I’m laughing because my brother says the same thing when the temps drop there.... even so...He’s always throwing it in my face how warm it is there when we’re freezing here and we share a good laugh!
I have mine on one of those temp/timer combo sensors. I just put it in before the first big freeze and forget about it till a warm day in March and I take it out.
Last year I couldn’t get there to put it in and I ended up with a lot of damage.
Warmer weather next week.
Maybe up into the 50s.
Wife has a bug and it looks as if this will curtail the trip to Florida.
I’m feeling fine.
When I drove back to AZ last weekend, I got caught in the Texas Panhandle in a mess of a storm on the highway. 13 mile back up for two hours while they cleared six wrecks.
Oh, yes, caww. I’m from Pensacola, Florida, and you couldn’t buy one of these down there. Our RV was designed for -50 wind chill factor, and last year, it well withstood -61.
Even so, my husband does some heavy-duty winterizing, which probably explains it, and we also have plenty of back-ups. Inside, it’s toasty warm, and we wear t-shirts and jeans. Bed covers are the same as we use in summer.
Good idea, that timer!
For years, I’ve been admiring your beautiful dog. Wonderful pictures!
Florida has some nice weather. Where I live in California we keeps some snow near by up on the mountains if we feel the need to play in it. The sun has just set and it is lightly raining and 57F.
