I wrote this a few days ago, but wanted to share it with y'all. I've been reading a book to my identical twin grandsons in Hawaii each night. they're 9 this year. I call them or they call me at about 10pm (5 their time) and turn on the speakerphone and read a day or two's worth of it. I'm behind, so I usually read two days worth (not much each day). It's called Jotham's Journey and it's SO INTERESTING. Little boy Jotham gets separated from his sheep herding family caravan and tries to find them. Adventures along the way. Danger, learning, and today he found out that his uncle is the earthly father of the Messiah that is to come soon!! He has only just started learning about the Messiah coming, so this was pretty exciting to him. I got chills just reading today's story! My son Nathan is thrilled and can't wait to read the story, which I read to him and Jared back in the day, to his own son one day. It's a wonderful experience, reading each day as Jotham both learns about the coming Savior and his travels take him closer and closer..... Oh my gosh, this will be an experience my precious grandsons will never forget. Sometimes L moves around, making noise, but tonight there was absolute silence on the phone as I read. B is always attentive. How I love those boys. The story is set to finish on Christmas morning, it's a great story to read to your children. (and grandchildren)
