My daughter visited friends in Round Rock (just north of Austin) and loved it. She’s pretty conservative, and said it’s a nice community.

Round Rock is in Williamson County, just north of Travis County.

And yes, it's pretty conservative. A lot of conservatives have fled Austin into cities and suburbs in Williamson.

My sister-in-law lives in Round Rock, she is as liberal as you can get.

I've been there too, back in 1989 when my aunt lived there. My cousins graduated from there. Nice little town and one of the cats I've had was born there, Muffin, my Burmese cat which we inherited after my aunt passed away. My mother liked it too.

Look at Belton TX. Close to Ft. Hood. and Round Rock. Good sized town and pretty hard core conservative. Lots of rolling hills, lots of water and lots of BASS!!
