I know an older Asian guy named Israel Moshe Ben-Cohenburgski.
Curious, I asked if he was Jewish.
“No,” he replied. “I was at Ellis Island, immigrating, and in line behind a Jewish man. The immigration officer asked him his name and he replied ‘Israel Moshe Ben-Cohenburgski.’ I stepped up, the officer asked me my name, and I replied ‘Sam Ting.’”
