Robbers put mayor's son in chokehold, stole his cell phone
Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s 17-year-old son was robbed near the family's home on the North Side on Friday night, according to a Chicago police report..
One of them "placed his arm around the victim's neck in a rear chokehold," and the second one struck the teen with a fist, knocking him to the ground. The robbers took the teen’s cellphone and patted him down, the police report said.
"The offenders then asked the victim, 'What else you got?' (and) forced the victim to enter his security code to unlock the phone," the police report said.

Note that at first, the race was “unknown”. I’m sure that they had to wait for orders from above before releasing this type of inflammatory information. You know, like a description of the suspects.

Police officers are assigned to the mayor’s home front and back 24 hours a day. There are also cameras at both ends of the block.
Dan Hill lives on the block. Hill says he’s seen an increased police presence on the block Saturday.
“There’s been at least one more paddy wagon out here this morning and, just a couple unmarked cars up and down the street,” Hill said. “Usually there’s just two, one in front and one in the back.”

Rahm is a poor guy who "accidentally" got into Chicago politics w/ just 10 cents in his pocket---then miraculously became a multi-millionaire overnight.
The mayoralty (and its--cough--"benefits") is a job Emanuel has coveted since he was a machine go-fer back in the 1980s.....before he became Bill Clinton's national campaign finance chairman and served a dual role as senior White House aide AND Goldman Sachs lobbyist.
After Rahm "accidentally" became a multi-millionaire, thanks to a measly few months at a Wall Street investment firm......he decided to run for Congressman (was there for four terms).
The poor guy's stumble into politics culminated in Rahm as White House chief of staff for Obama (and helped create the 2010 Republican House landslide).
Shortly after quitting his powerful WH job as Obama's COS, Rahm held a presser declaring he "just remembered" he really, Really wanted to be Mayor of Chicago.
Then Rahm announced he had "accidentally" raised $10 million for his campaign "in just a matter of weeks."
Sob.
Wall Street Rahm "accidentally wired" federal tax dollars offshore at the time Rahm was in a dual role as Obama's COS AND in charge of the entire US Treasury.

Last night, on the streets of Chicago, two street merchants had a transaction with the son of Mayor Rahm Emmanuel. One of the street merchants demonstrated a choke hold on the 17 year old son of the mayor, while the other merchant punched him in the face, chipping a tooth and busting his mouth. Seemingly a good time was had by all.
Fortunately, the suspects were not arrested, since they might have suggested the transaction involved dope or guns or sex. Rest assured that no description was forthcoming, since obviously that would be racist.
