To: Veto!

Seriously, how did you manage to get get rid of sugar and wheat in your diet?

I could use some pointers.


2015 will be doing my best to lose a few pounds.

Also, finish a project that I have been working on for some time. When done ( if done correctly ) will results in much higher royalty checks each month.

Brother, I need it.

Here’s how to get sugar and wheat out of your diet. JUst don’t eat them. Once you make that decision, it gets pretty easy. And even easier after a week and you notice how energetic you feel.

For carbs, I like baked potatoes. Drizzled with olive oil, a pinch of basil, a pinch of ground garlic . Baked sweet potatoes are good even for dessert. I don’t need to put a single thing on top.

Book you might like is Protein Power Plan by Drs Eades and Eades, who give you enough science to convince you to try their plan.

You do go through a rather drastic change in the beginning, but you’re never hungry. In fact, I had a hard time consuming all the food I was supposed to eat, and lost 15 pounds the first month. My current diet with many potatoes is a wonderful maintenance diet, as I don’t have to lose any more weight.

Since this book was written, further research shows that sugar and wheat are/can be addictive. Not good. Addiction is for liberals.

Good luck with your project. May your royalty checks be hefty — but not your bod.

Eat more good fats...also, the desire for sugar/carbs declines as you eat less of them
