The Playboy stories are suspect. He coulda had Hefner get any gal he wanted, for him to do anything he wanted - no drugs necessary. Coulda done it all in the orgy room, or take them to his place, or whatever. Why, if the guy coulda had anything he wanted, would he drug women? Where is the thrill of the hunt in that? He could get the same thing with an inflate-a-woman.
Interesting that the loudest people on FR who have suspended skepticism on the factual issues involved in these stories all seem to have some kind of connection with the same Hollywood types who are ALSO paying no attention to the factual details.
The stories about the drugs are not fitting the descriptions of what various drugs actually do. And there are other discrepancies also.
I have no idea what kind of guy Cosby is. I suppose there are probably bar-maids who don’t like him. If they didn’t say why, it could be that he tips badly. Who knows? What I do know is that the stories themselves don’t pass muster.

Only my personal anecdote, which is good enough to give me reason to keep an open mind in regard to the accused and the accusers. What someone else wants to do with that information in the court of public opinion is their decision and their responsibility.

Of course I have, after living a nearly full life into semi-retirement. I lived not far from Hollywood and sometimes worked in Hollywood for many years. My work sometimes included the motion picture industry in Hollywood. I worked as a cocktail bartender and a bar manager at the same time I served with the Air National Guard and the Air Force. My career in accounting information services and the IT industries followed those earlier years, but continued some of my connections with the motion picture industry.

No, that is not necessarily so at all. See the etiology of paraphilic coercive disorder and sexual sadism disorder for just two of many possible explanations for the alleged rapes.

Another false claim. There is no evidence to support a claim that only one dose of the date rape was used.

That is your expressed opinion which does not appear to be supported by the evidence we see, and you still have not explained why you should have the right to deny the accusers of their right to free speech. Don’t you believe in the First amendment right to free speech?
You’ve read a few articles on the internet and now you’re an expert on drugs and how they affect everyone?
The stories don’t pass muster? You could say the exact same thing about the Sandusky accusers. Some of those kids had zero physical evidence in their cases, too. The only evidence they had was their story of what happened.
