I debated commenting just because no one will ever change an opinion on this stuff but what the hell.

There are absolutely some bat crap crazy-pussified-thanks to liberalism in society people of many ages attached to this show.

There are some people with actual through no fault of their own mental issues of many ages attached to this show.

There are also some of us that never bought the pony tshirt, went to pony conventions, name our pets/children after characters or dress up as ponies for holidays. And we will be glad to put our collective man cards up against any Billy Badass that has an issue with it.

Now for a non fanboi reason why non preteen girls ALSO find the show interesting? There’s this cool word a lot of us older types used to know that used to be a part of our lives. “Innocence”. MLP is perhaps one of the last toons in production that has that. Perhaps one of the last shows period.

Loony Tunes were kids cartoons too. As was TopCat, Felix, Hanna Barberra and a bunch of others that I’d bet more than a few Billy Badasses watch to this day.

Not that said, what of the supposedly stable 20 yo dude that make the show their lives purpose? Personally I’d rather spend time on ensuring that the younger guys liberalism hasn’t already destroyed don’t GET destroyed and leave the species-questioning types as fodder for the ferals in the coming collapse.

Now if you’ll all excuse me, I havent watched “The Little Mermaid”, my favorite animated flick ever, in a long while now, so I think I’ll spend the rest of the day with my excessively credentialed Man card enjoying it.
