What she’s saying is that Fitch had the gall to disbelieve and then challenge the rape story. Which per current standards (rape “victims” must always be believed, without question) makes him a rape apologist.
It’s a real keeper of an article, she makes her point very, very well.
The article is satirical and sarcastic to point out the ridiculousness of the “rape apologist” labels.
Been seeing this particular concept (Atticus Finch as “rape apologist”) floating around conservatives and libertarians on Twitter for about a week as a means to mock the social justice warriors.
