I got a Pertussis booster a few years ago as it was recommended. Perhaps the vaccine only lasts so long and of course I got that as a little kid. My mother and her sister had whooping cough as kids....she said they would cough & cough until they threw up. Awful!

“The current vaccine for whooping cough, or pertussis, may keep you or your baby healthy, but it may not stop either of you from spreading the disease, a new animal study suggests.”

They try to blame the newer vaccine but that one has been out for 25 years. So it’s not exactly ‘new’.

We’re currently the only country that still does this btw. It’s called ‘cocooning’.

http://www.news.com.au/breaking-news/states-ending-free-parent-whooping-vaccine/story-e6frfku0-1226350174856

“He said the national Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) had determined vaccinating parents was not effective in protecting newborns, after two pharmaceutical manufacturers made submissions to the PBAC.

“The PBAC, which is totally independent and very expert, has determined that there is no clinical effectiveness of this strategy,” Professor Brook said.
He said this had made it clear the cocooning strategy should not be continued.”

Not necessarily because we did not have loads of people swarming across the border with their third world diseases. Take a look at where the outbreaks are and you will find illegals in large numbers.

Haven’t you figured out that the swarms of sick illegals being deposited around the country have made communities sick? Measles, TB, whooping cough, and other diseases that are unique to the areas they have come from.....it is easily traceable

That’s what I was pointing out. That should have been included in the article.
