I haven’t heard anything and haven’t watched it. Don’t really care to.

yeah but did they adjust the dollars to make a legitimate comparison? 1.27 billion in todays dollars isn’t 1.27 billion dollars 20 years ago.

if figures were adjusted for inflation, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs would appear at the top of the chart

Thanks. Exactly what I was asking. This to me means Frozen isn’t the highest. It’s just not an accurate comparison when you don’t adjust for inflation.

What’s an FA meeting? Frozen Anonymous. Sorry, should have clarified it I guess. Was just being silly.

I don't know, but I just got back from a trip to Disneyland, and it's Frozen themed everywhere. Even one of the Downtown Disney stores was remade into a Frozen boutique.

My 6 year old autistic grandson was singing the song endlessly, so I watched the video with him and his sister last weekend. At the end, little sister crooned the song. I thought he would sing, but he sat there in wonder and said, “We watched Frozen!”. Sis, for the record, adores plainer Anna, a very resourceful girl. She wants nothing to do with Princess Elsa.

It was a great disney Princess movie and the songs are top quality. I heard “Let it Go” that dsy in the theater, got goosebumps, and knew it was going to be Huge.

We also love the snowman Olaf singing about summer. So cute.

I am still in the ten fortunates, but I’m afraid that is about to change. My granddaughter loves that movie and is planning to watch it with me during Christmas.

There’s going to be more “Frozen” stuff in California Adventure starting after New Year’s. “Frozen” will take over the Animation Academy, the Muppets theater, and the building between the theater and the “Monsters, Inc.” ride. It sounds like it’s going to be similar to what was done in Disney’s Hollywood Studios last summer.

Personally, I thought “Frozen” was fantastic—up there with “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Lion King.” A novel twist on the Princess-in-distress films.

Of course the kids are going nuts over it. More than half the girls in costume at the Disneyland the last time I was there were dressed as Elsa, and most of the girls dressed as Anna were there with an older sister dressed as Elsa. My daughter’s kindergarten had three girls dressed as Elsa, and only one as Anna. I told her teacher that in five years, she’ll have a student named Elsa.

My daughter was 6th to meet them when they first appeared in Disneyland—3 weeks before the movie opened. (She knew they were Elsa and Anna, but didn’t know who was who.) After the movie opened, the line to meet them hit 2 hours, and over 5 hours in Epcot-Norway. Now, the “Maelstrom” ride is being updated to be “Frozen”-themed.

Last time we were in Disneyland, she met Hiro and Baymax, so she might be over “Frozen.”

Sorry, but this song is no match for Disney’s, It’s a Small World.

The lyrics strike me as a call to reject society's norms, and specifically parents.

Is that why it is so popular?

Isn’t the cornerstone of almost every Disney movie about children disobeying their parents?
