The reviews for the new "Annie" are mostly awful.
It’s the hard knock life.
I saw a movie once. It was awful!
Well Annie did sort of have an afro.
If it’s hard, don’t knock it. (Dark humor.)
What’s next? a remake of Gone with the Wind with a black Scarlet and white Mammy?
Racist reviewers.
Sarah Jessica Parker's one and only good performance...
Oh, wait. Second only to her playing ‘beard’ to Matthew Broderick all these years, LOL!
Sounds like the not-roaring-success of the remake of The Honeymooners, as a movie with Cedric the Entertainer as Ralph Kramdem.
It only made around $13 million total.
Two years from now, Jamie Foxx will be back making movies about killing other races, and will say he was
pressured by his publicist into doing this movie. Contractual obligations, don’t you know.
I had a crush on Andrea McArdle in 1977. The best Annie
Why is there some need to remake old TV shows and movies, but remake them to be politcally correct???
Does she have Red hair?
it might have worked fine with a black cast if they did not try to “update” it...
Cedric The Entertainer can be funny in a few specific settings, not so much otherwise. He filled in on Family Feud for his buddy, but comes across as out of place and not really connecting. I think he even kept his hat on during the taping. Cedric needs to call up Ice Cube and ask about another sequel for the movie Barbershop. Now that (Barbershop) was a very funny movie if you’re familiar with that culture.
Ugh! Do I wanna know?
Cute dog. Oh and the terrier is nice too,:-)
over the passed few years i’ve noticed many tv shows have been casting blacks in positions of power and/or authority roles.
and now i hear they’ve changed the traditional red headed white girl to a black girl.
just more social engineering
If you don’t like the “new & improved” Annie, or for that matter, the remade Steel Magnolias, you’re obviously racist.
All those reviewers who panned it? Racists, each and every one!
Holder’s final investigation as AG will be a civil rights investigation of the bad reviews.
