Funny you should say that. Birders visit landfills regularly because it attracts some interesting birds, including rare gulls and corvids.

We also check out sewage plants too. They're a magnet for migrating shorebirds in spring and fall.

Tantalizing, eh?

I prefer to see the birds on the beach, the smell is less intense...and more pleasing.
