I also live in the FLA Panhandle (Panama City) and my bird feeder wasn't drawing very many birds until I bought a live trap and started my "Cat Relocation Program".

Transferred a little over a dozen felines to rural areas before the birds began to show up again.

Got to meet a few irate cat owners...their cats had been on my property and nobody forced them into the trap.

Where I used to live in Gilbert Iowa, cats had the same rule as dogs and they were very strict about both. Seems like cats don't like leashes one bit.

 photo aXfolder080_zpsd9e33b98.jpgThis nest is at the corner of my porch and for years it has been home to 3 or 4 broods a year. Maybe two years ago, I noticed a feral cat on the porch and the babies were gone. For around two years now the nest has been empty.
