Here in some parts of the backwoods South some white people come up with some very creative names for their kids. Years ago I knew a guy from Kentucky whose first name was Devil.
Probably named after this guy: Anderson “Devil Anse” Hatfield led his family in their notorious and bloody feud with the McCoys during the late 1800s along the Kentucky-West Virginia border.
They probably tried to speel Natasha phonetically so it was spoken with the “ah” sound not the short a sound.
