“What is the main difference between Halal and Kosher?”

There is a host of differences. Neither camel milk, tiger meat nor shellfish are kosher, but I believe they all can be halal. Alcohol can be kosher, but not halal.

There are some similarities: Neither blood, carrion nor pork can be kosher or halal.

That line reminded me of a very good priest friend of mine who passed away a few years ago. He had spent seven years in Lebanon.

Camel is permitted, but NOT recommended.
